Airports

San Diego International Airport (SAN)

This is the closest airport to the rink and is located about 20 miles from the rink.  Easy to rent cars, Uber/Lyft, or take public transit.

San Jose International Airport (SJC)

This is the closest airport to the rink and is located only a couple of miles from the rink and downtown San Jose Hotels. Easy to rent cars, Uber/Lyft, or take public transit.

San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

Largest airport in the bay area located about 45 minutes from San Jose. Easy to rent cars and take public transit.

Oakland International Airport (OAK)

Alternative airport that is about 1 hour from San Jose, but has several regional airlines and easy to rent cars and take public transit.

Transportation

Car Rental

The airports are good places to rent cars.  We recommend making advance registrations as it is a busy weekend and agencies can run out of cars.

Uber/Lyft

Uber and Lyft operate in the area and are an alternative means of getting around to and from airports, hotels and the rink.

Mobirise

Public Transit

San Diego and San Jose has great public transit. Note you would still need a bus or other connection to get to rink.

Carpool

See if your fellow ice dancers are going and if you can catch a ride with them.  Friday night traffic can take a while if coming from San Francisco or Oakland (~1.5 hrs).  Be prepared.
